Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association Ltd (KBSA) is introducing hundreds of its members to Grosvenor’s risk-free salary sacrifice scheme as part of a new agreement between both parties.
Established in 1978, KBSA promotes professionalism and the best workmanship throughout the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom industry. With 250 members, KBSA champions the independent home interior community.
Grosvenor is the UK’s largest privately-owned contract hire and fleet management specialist, providing a range of vehicle funding and management solutions, and now KBSA members will have access to a salary sacrifice program that offers added protection, prompt scheme implementation and can save up to 40% on electric cars.
Following a recommendation, KBSA were impressed with Grosvenor’s ‘people-centric’ approach and the benefits of their scheme offered to KBSA members.
Grosvenor’s salary sacrifice scheme includes no early termination charges in the event of a member of staff leaving, being made redundant or resigning. It even has long-term sickness cover built in and as well as paternity cover, which reduces the exposure of any financial risk to the members of the group.
KBSA national chair Richard Hibbett said: “From our first discussions, it became noticeably clear that Grosvenor has an enhanced approach to customer service and will take the time to discuss all the options available to our members. They’ll be a terrific addition to our supplier portfolio.
“Grosvenor’s salary sacrifice scheme is a risk-free program that presents a compelling benefits package for our members as well as capitalising on favourable tax incentives for green vehicles.
“Additionally, the scheme will help members make the transition to electric vehicles more accessible and affordable, while also offering tangible financial and administrative advantages to their employers.
Paul Wickenden, regional business development manager at Grosvenor, added: “We’re pleased to be able to work with the KBSA to offer members a scheme with significant advantages for employers.
“Our salary sacrifice scheme serves as a powerful, no-cost tool to attract and retain staff, while also generating savings on national insurance. Furthermore, it reduces administrative workload and enhances the company’s environmental credentials by promoting the adoption of electric vehicles.”
Grosvenor’s salary sacrifice scheme offers:
- Significant cost savings: Employees can save up to 40% on the cost of a new electric vehicle compared to a personal lease agreement.
- All-inclusive motoring: The monthly payment covers most motoring costs, providing peace of mind and simplifying budgeting.
- Access to new electric vehicles: The scheme provides an affordable way to drive the latest electric and low-emission cars.
- No upfront costs: Typically, there is no deposit required to enter the scheme.
- Risk mitigation: Grosvenor’s scheme includes protection against unforeseen circumstances such as redundancy, resignation, extended sick leave, or maternity/paternity leave, mitigating the financial risk for both the employee and employer in case of early termination of the lease.
- Home charging solution: The cost of a home charging point can often be bundled into the lease agreement.
KBSA members interested in the scheme will have a face-to-face meeting with a Grosvenor representative who will thoroughly explain how the scheme works, run through cost examples and manage the inquiry in that manner.
